ain & sekolah....

my girl... on her 2nd week of school... finally we see the big smile on her face...

i was shivering and panicked the day before school started.... i am just so afraid she may start her nonsense again and scared that she refused to go to school, just like last year...

and it actually happened... she cried and didn't want to let me go on the 1st day of school, even I have been 'psychoing' her almost everyday, 2 weeks before school started... but apparently it didn't work lah... champion!

However, Ain's teacher has been very supportive and giving encouragement and advised me on how to deal with ain's nonsense. First 3 days, she cried and refused to go to school, but with ain's teacher's patience, she still sat in the 3 days session...

Miraculously, on Monday, which was the 4th day, she woke up smiling and wanted to get ready very quickly... and she started with this song...

"Bangun pagi, gosok gigi, cuci muka, pergi mandi
minum susu, makan roti, pergi sekolah, senang hati" (the oh my darling clementine's version)

I was startled with the change... and she still sings that song every morning... yeayyyyyy!!!! Anak aku dah pandai pergi sekolah.... and after 1 1/2 months, ain can read.... another yeayyyyy!!!!!!!

And the best part is, her agama islam class is only on Tuesdays and Thursdays... setiap kali balik sekolah, she will tell me that she wants to solat, kalau tak nanti masuk neraka, but only on Tuesdays and Thursdays... hari lain ustazah tak ajar, so die LUPA!!!! Hai lah anak aku....

One thing for sure, girl, mama is so proud of you and abang... and if one day you read this, let me tell you this big secret.... I love you and abang so much.... both of you are my daily inspiration!!!!
