The children has been complaining that we have not been spending enough time with them lately.
So, during school holiday, we took the opportunity to take a short trip to Bukit Merah Laketown. I got a good deal booking from the net (you would not believe what wonders the internet could give you).
First Day
So on Wednesday - 10th June 2009, off we went to Bukit Merah Laketown.
Hubby decided to use the coastal road to enjoy the view and more of a relaxed driving.
We started our journey at 9am.
We stopped at Tanjong Malim's most popular Restaurant - Yik MUn. Specialty of this restaurant is the Pau.
If you ask me, the taste of the pau is not so great... so so only lah...
Then we continued our journey... along the way, we stopped several times and mostly at petrol kiosks. Not to pump petrol but more of using the toilets... my tummy was going berserk on that day...
However, it was a pleasant experience to stop at these public toilets. I am sure many of us would typically think that these toilets must be very dirty and not well-managed. Surprise, surprise... ALL the toilets that I went were clean and there was even one (from BHP station) had aircon in the toilet... how about that!!!!!
We even stopped at MIL's house to make sure it is in order since her absence from the house almost 14days ago (she went for Umrah and she was staying with my BIL when we made the visit). We had lunch at KFC (ya, the most unexciting place to makan).
We arrived at Bukit Merah closed to 3.30pm. My expectation was it must be one of the most crappiest place to stay due to the rate that I got from internet booking was dirt cheap.
But how wrong I was.
The rest of the days were excellent.
We truly enjoyed this unexpected good, cheap and fun trip.
I am definitely looking forward for more of this in months to come!!!!!
