Just last month - on 8th February 2010 (to be precise) I fell flat on my chest.
And I had 3 full loaded bags on both my shoulders.
Can you imagine the impact?
Was it painful? Not immediately though, but a few hours later, I started to cramp all over the body.
The very next day - after a night of restlessness and uncomfortable sleep due to the pain - I had bruises on my whole right side of my body.
It took me almost a week to recover from the fall - the bruises, the pain, the limping, the body ache...
And just last night, I came home almost 10pm. Late again!
But this round, my children were still up and were waiting for me, to accompany them to have late dinner.
So I rushed to the bathroom to quickly clean myself. In the midst of being hasty and hurry, I slipped again.
I was not sure whether it was because my bathroom floor was slippery or because I just couldn't balance myself well.
There I was, like sebiji nangka busuk, seated on the floor, crying after a loud thump!
My children came rushing to the door and knocked very hard until they heard my reply. Then only they stopped knocking!
Today, I am limping again, for the second time this year, in less than a month!
One day (which is very soon, I think), I will rot not because of my age that I am getting old, but more of the falls that I had during my entire life... several hundred times... countless times!!!!
